【motto】
It's about trying to do something that you really want to do on your own.
【Key words for postgraduate entrance examination】
Persistence, emotional management, mentality, self-discipline, sense of purpose.
English exam preparation: I started around March, going through the exam questions from the past ten years. I wrote one article every two days (one day for writing and the next day for reviewing). Up to the third round, the fourth round in recent years has been a relatively common practice, but it may not be very suitable for the current English postgraduate entrance examination. Therefore, students with a poor foundation in English who want to achieve a high score still need to put in some effort in this area.
Political exam preparation: It started during the summer vacation. In the early stage, I took Xu Tao's online courses and spent 1000 yuan on Xiao. Later, I followed Teacher Xiao Xiurong's Xiao Si and Xiao Ba. You must do a lot of multiple-choice questions. My multiple-choice questions are really bad.

About the theory
I didn't enroll in any prep courses. Before June, I had mastered the entire book by organizing mind maps and textbook frameworks, compiling study materials. After completing assignments in the second semester of my junior year, I started memorizing the five books. I reviewed them ten times by ranking them by past exam frequency and supplementing with additional materials! (If your school frequently tests real questions, I recommend buying past exam papers when purchasing study materials and focusing on extended exam materials. But absolutely don't just memorize the questions that've been tested!!!)
Starting from November, weekly mock interviews will be conducted in strict accordance with the examination rules. Students who have not applied for the institution can ask some former high-scoring seniors to help them check the answer sheet, logical structure and writing layout at this time.

About reciting
A.At the beginning of recitation, I took mind maps and materials, imagined myself as a teacher preparing lessons, wrote the framework on paper, and then lectured to myself to ensure that I could explain myself clearly. Logic is very important, and ordinary textbooks do not need to be recited word for word.
B.After 1-2 rounds, when the content of the material is generally clear, you should act as a teacher in class and speak out loud. This method of recitation is very helpful for speaking logic. You think, you've been preparing for this class for a year, so you must be comfortable with the interview!

About quick questions
I think it is necessary to enroll in a fast course for systematic learning. The study of fast course has always been one drawing and one class per week. During the summer vacation, I had a 15-day fast course training offline, and I can also participate in the fast course training during the National Day holiday.
When I can't study every day, I can go to the website to find some practical cases to copy as accumulation. However, I don't spend too much time on copying quick drawings. I usually copy them after returning from the library to my dormitory at night.

I started to check in for the postgraduate entrance exam during the summer vacation, mainly to lock my phone, so that I would not be anxious about the time and pay more attention to learning efficiency.
【About the reexamination】
1.What you can do now:
The college's course schedule includes multiple presentations, with notifications typically sent a week in advance. This gives you a full week to refine your PPT presentation, organize your arguments, and prepare materials. These presentations are excellent opportunities to hone your communication skills and boost confidence—particularly valuable for shy students who might struggle with public speaking. By mastering these presentations, you'll be better prepared to deliver clear, articulate responses during final interviews without stammering.
2.Real reexamination stage:
The retest of Beilin includes: 1) quick questions, 2) Chinese questions and answers, 3) English questions and answers, 4) English translation. I have never been exposed to the quick questions in the retest, so I can start learning after the preliminary test.
After receiving my initial exam results, I began preparing for theoretical knowledge memorization. A key strategy I adopted was scheduling mock interviews with different interviewers every three days – this method effectively alleviated nervousness while honing my ability to respond flexibly. (Flexibility here means that when encountering unfamiliar questions during mock interviews, one should explain concepts based on prior understanding rather than remaining silent. For example, when I initially encountered the question "internet-famous landmarks" during practice interviews, I elaborated on my interpretation of trending internet culture trends. I even cited examples from my course design for Tanhuolin.)
【Reflections】
In fact, it is very tiring to prepare for the exam. It is normal to have a mental breakdown occasionally. You should allow yourself to feel sad, but also solve problems quickly.
Every time I can't study, I tell myself, “You really want to do something with your own efforts, right?”
Finally, I want to give you a word:
Young men should have the ambition of a swan, and ride a fine horse to level the plain!
Stay focused, stay hardworking,
I hope that every one of us who is running towards the goal can feel the exhilaration of going all out,
and can feel the tears in our eyes that we never forget and will surely have a response.
